painting radiators?

Post by jon leonard »

hello all, is it possible to paint an aluminium radiator to make it look a little bit stock looking. i know it won`t look propperly stock, but just wondered if you can paint the surround part black. if this is okay what would be the best paint to use? appreciate any advice, cheers.

Frost Auto Restoration sell the paint.

On my old Chally I just painted the side you can see through the grille. I left the engine side the natural ally finish.

As with painting any Aluminium, you need to use an etch primer or paint won't adhere. . .
