Agree with everyone about the dog dishes, they look good on.

If you are thinking of swapping out to a 440 then its not straight forward

You need different engine mounts for the K frame, different exhaust set up which is fiddly, if you have power sterring then you would loose that.

The axle is likely to be 7.25 and you would really need an 8.75

Stronger gearbox that fits big block

Shorter prop

I could go on

OR

Pack in a beefier small block, upgrade to a 360 like me, better cam etc

Far less work and better bang for buck IMHO

Stroker 360 would be the go, even out to 426, but then you run into the driveline issues as for a 440, but an SB gets over the exhaust, PS probs etc....

Stroked 340 or 360 for sure. As soon as you put a big block in there it will ruin the handling.

A more powerful small block and a suspension/brake upgrade will make it a really nice package that would put many a big block car to shame.

Not sure where you got the idea of me putting a 440 in lol.

I like it just how it is. Makes all the right sounds, goes very well handles pretty well for a huge yank.

Engine is DEFINATLY on the back burners. Wouldn't mind upping the rear axel first. But like I said. Not fussed. It's a cruiser not a face smacker.

If you want more power in the future Sam you can get a good punch out of a smallblock without breaking the bank ;)
No-one will believe you...

Hi Sam
Cracking car mate !!!
I don't know why you talk of changing things ??
Drive it and get to know what you like or dislike about the car before you make any decisions Just my personal view mate !
As for your wheels I think you should start a thread and take votes ?
Already know the outcome though don't we :D
Good to meet you at nats mate
