Post by latil »

... and it turned up at our local cruise (Nags Head) last Wednesday night, drove it there with his boy then pootled off home like it was a Mondeo.... good street manners he reckons.

I think he ran the 7.87 Saturday evening with a slight tail wind, but at some point down the track he was only running on 7. . . .

Which was caused by, and also meant this

Which was changed overnight

Les, takes a bit more than a big rad ;)

Mark,s GTO is still on a light tune, timing is non existent, plenty more to come that's for sure :thumbright:

Yes Mark...a bit more than a big rad I know  :) ....if you wanna make the choice of running your Race car on the street thats your choice, and thats ok, but you got all the hassle of the extra crap that goes with that to do it, and your putting extra stress on expensive components

I personally was happy to impress myself, and maybe a few competitors in the times I ran on the Track, or the races I won with the '69.

As I said, 7.87 sounds to me like he's tickling it, would've thought a 6.90 is in their somewhere when on full tune perhaps. :thumbright:
