Nice to meet you all today. That is when I finally got away from the American guy who had spotted the cars and pulled in for a chat.

Nice to meet up today. It was a nice run from here, not too far but far enough to get the motor warm. The location was the dogs.Imagine it on a warm summers day sitting in the gardens over-looking the canals and fields. Not sure if it will happen again this year but if we keep it to a Sunday lunchtime thing then it does not have to be a summer only affair.
There was only one complaint and it wasnt from me but from the landlord. He said we were welcome any time but "NO SPINNING OFF THE CAR PARK"
After Guy had made a spirited exit  the gaffer came over to the last couple off the car park(me & Mr towel rail :D )and made us aware of his views. He wasnt stroppy but just wanted to make his point.Public liability, health&safety blah, blah, blah etc..
All in all,a good day out,we went to another pub on the way home for a meal and got back home about 7.00.Top notch..
And Budgie.............Look at that Avondale over there with the twin axles and air con!!!!! :D :D Just think Winnebago

As everyone has said, a good turnout for the 1st Midlands meeting and what an excellent venue. Good to meet up with everybody.
Rich, you beat me to it with the mention of Guy's SPRITED exit, I was going to ask whether the landlord made a comment as the look on his face as Guy and ourselves left said it all.
Sorry that we left you guys to face the flack, but hopefully if we behave ourselves we will be welcome back again.
PS Tony, Nick said thanks for pebbledashing the Camaro as you left, that's only bit that DIDN'T need repainting !!!!!!!!!!! :D

I think if you Tcut the front it will show the rest up!!
I must admit when I looked behind all I could see was a huge white cloud rising from the pub, looked impressive form where I was, just probably not from the landlords position. I think if we behave ourselves we will be welcome back to what is a fantastic venue, and could be the start of a good monthly meet.

I think the landlord was more concerned about his new tarmac, it seems he wasn't too bothered about you melting the public highway Tony !
