Vixen could actually play pretty good for what looked like a hairspray advertising campaign, I always thought they had a bit more in en than the usual coiffured blonde hot chick image, but I guess that's what sold tho eh?

Talking of birds in rock, we tried the lot back when they were ten-a-penny (late 70's - early 80's)..... Pat Benatar, Lee Aaron, Tane Cain (Jonathan Cain's missus) etc but none are better in AOR IMHO than Karen Lawrence, singer with 1994.

Think they only did a couple of albums but they are both worth checking out if you like a bit of AOR...

1st (self titled) album opener:

and one from the 2nd:

Or if you prefer something a bit more up to date.... well, 90's:

Aussie band, Baby Animals. Saw them a couple of times (2 consecutive nights) at the Marquee in Wardour Street back in 91ish.

Think they're still going too...
