Yep,
I bought that copy of Hot Rod back in '71 and I've still got it. I even searched high and low till I found a helmet to match the one Don Carlton is wearing in the Billy the Kid Challenger (and that became London Heavy believe it or not). For me '71 was the year for pro stock, after came that the slow descent into the faceless full tube panel cars we have now.
