67 Coronet R/T

Post by John »

Well I guess there`s a few may know and a few that don`t that I sold my Satellite at this years Nats.

It wasn`t actually up for sale but a chap came along, fell in love with it and had to have it as they say.

That left me wanting so I aquired a Coronet off Mick that he brought over a couple of Months ago.

I`ve been hard at it finishing off bits and pieces and as the sun was out today, took a few pics. The pics are quite flattering if I`m honest as it`s a good 20 footer really, although I am still finding it hard to stop comparing it with the Satellites paint etc.

Hope you like

I can't work out which is the front and which is the back - you can see where they got the styling queues for the front of a '68 Charger.

I still think the Coronet has the best quarter panel design of any muscle car........

That and the sides of a Challenger which were not only beautiful but an amazing opical illusion to hide the size of the thing. Something the new challenger does not have.

The Charger was always just a fastback roof version of the Coronet R/T.
