Got a full tank of gas in the Bee.
It would be great to make the most of the sun this weekend.
Duxford is on but we do not want to go there as it will be rammed and too hot......
Anyone know of any events - not necessarily car-orientated - would be good to know, thanks!!!
Any events on this weekend (8th & 9th September)?

I know the Mussy crowd go there for one of their annual meets but we (wife & son) went there a few years ago just to look round and it's a great place for a 1/2 day visit if youre interested in garden type stuff.Blue wrote:There's a classic car show on at Capel Manor horticultural college in Enfield on Sunday. We are going for a mooch as Hilary has been on about looking around the gardens for ages....
Not quite Kew Gardens but a darn sight nearer (for us)

Did the "Flower show" but did not get to see the gardens due to the heat/picnic/Ice cream stalls/cars...
Hooked up with Blue and Hillary and Jem - great to see you guys.
Also parked up with a guy with a '68 Charger R/T who has stuffed a 426 hemi and 4 speed in it. Good chap who will probably join the MMA.
Low point was a '76 Camaro winning best Septic car...well, it was shiny.////
Comentator said about the "CAMmoro" - "I bet that snaps you neck off with acceleration" - my wife peed herself laughing...........what a girl.........
