A buddie of mine showed up yesterday with this

Amazing car not my game but a truly amazing car,

It tips the scales at 6 thousand pounds, just whole bunch of car.

The wheel base is so long ,400 bhp electric, and a turbo 4 popper to charge the batteries that sit along the center of the whole car,

And energy is also scavenged off the brakes , he drove from Vail to Denver and started down the mountains(reaching 90 mph) with 18 miles left on the charge, and when he got to my house he had 22 miles of charge

14 inch Fisker/Brembos on all 4 , with 22 inch wheels

Pretty cool car but the price for this leaf saver is........................125k

It has dual speakers, and here is a short 18 sec. vid so you can hear this Jetsons sound

,I was kind of awestruck to hear this car the tyres made more noise taking off

James May test drove it earlier in the year on Top Gear.
Was joined by AC/DC singer Brian Johnson.

It's 1 cool car.

Very eco, but also has an onboard engine to charge the batteries if it gets low

Sexy machine!

Love it =P~

125k

Great engineering :thumbright: performance :thumbright:

But you would need to like it A LOT to pay 125k

It may be a leaf saver...but does the power station that charges her up do any good for the environment?:)

I was almost Run Over by an electric car, thought it was parked up and walked out in front of it when it set off

Yes here in the States they make em have noise,Federal law for the Blind,

Hence the "dual exhaust speakers"

And yes energy has to come from some where, and the extra motor uses gasoline, not sure if it plugs in? :?:

Yes we manufacture quite a few parts for that vehicle, including the Audio system. Not the external audio though.

Also, Fisker are having their share of trouble in the current economic climate, IIRC they were anticipating some govt money which has not materialised, they've had to delay future programmes etc.

Regenerative braking on a car. Interesting. I hope those batteries are capable of standing up to that rapid charge / discharge cycling. The top level technology batteires on the market today are proven to about 20,000 cycles. Putting charge in every time you stomp on the brakes hard isnt gonna do em too much good.
