Me too. They recorded the show at Newcastle Mayfair on that tour as well. It's not clear which tracks were recorded where (and not all are credited) but I think "The Jack" was actually the recording from the gig I was at. I can't remember why I think that. I must have had a reason at one time.

My ears rang for three days after that one.

Frank Marino / Mahogany Rush.... now youre talking! :thumbright:

We saw them at Port Vale FC in '81 at the 'Heavy Metal Holocaust'. Not the most p.c. of festival names...

I dont remember a great deal about it all these years down the line but some of the recollections in the link here help to bring back few memories :)

Next time we saw him was 2005 at the Mean Fiddler, or LA2 as was, (downstairs at the Astoria) on Tottenham Ct Rd.

I gotta say, standing a few feet away from him in this pokey little venue, he's got to be just about the best guitarist i've had the opportunity to see close up 8-)

And talking of What's Next.... how's this for an album opener 8-) 8-)

A ripper Ade - haven't heard that before and much prefer it to the Sabbath version.

Here's a video of them playing it live.

I just found out this interesting fact. Led Zeps first gig was at the rock venue I used to go to every weekend.
