I told you not to blink

Someone here at work paused the dvd and took those pics. Maybe there was a better shot to be had but... :dontknow:

It was more noticeable on the actual film - red car passing in the background of a fairly dull set, but still only visible for literally about 2 seconds.

Must be happy to have your car in a film......even if it is only a blink and miss it! :thumbright:

I remember some of the cars from this (green dart and coronet wagon)being put up for sale on Ebay. I take it others, like the Mavrick, were owners cars?

Green dart in that shot is mine, and wasn't sold after! They did have a green 73 dart with a black vinyl roof and a metallic green scamp - I think both those were owned by the vehicle/film company...

Think I got half a second or so more screen time than you Rob

Paulo - sorry, I didnt realise that was you, I thought it was one of the other green Darts that was visible in that scene.

I thought you started off in front of me at that junction and either went straight on or turned right to go up the hill when they called 'action'?

Or maybe that was for the first 20 takes and one of the last 20 takes made it into the film, after you'd changed your start position... anyhoo, cool if that is you getting your 3 seconds of fame :thumbright:

Sorry I can't add to discussion about which Dart is in the picture as I wasn't there but I can tell you that's our Scamp parked up on the left of the Monte Carlo.

The Dart we had was a 73 model but first reg was Nov '72 - hence it making the cut!

The blue Maverick was a really nice car too...

Saw the film on the weekend, reminded me why I think the '70 Cuda is the most beautiful car in the world. Makes a nice change to see a moving car in bright, sharp high-def, rather than static images in books etc.

Actually, I've just looked at the pics again and you're right, that is the 72

It was the previous angle I'm in, also driving past the camper on the inside and then turning right, but the shots with the harbour on the left not straight ahead. I saw the film at the pictures and could see myself in the establishing shot, then a fairly close one next to the camper, and then a similar rear shot turning right, so I still think I'm beating you on screen time Rob :-D
