Removing front brake drums
Struggling like anything to get a front drum of this 69 Fury today, ended up taking the hub off with it, then knocking the studs back a bit with a big hammer, then whacking the hub back through the drum. (With the aid of 'Latil') It is the tightest thing i have ever seen. What the heck is that all about? I mean, they're meant to come off the hubs.... aren't they? The main thing holding them on was the sort of raised bits of the wheel stud shanks.
If (having taken off the drums the correct way) you take a little out of the holes the studs go through, they will come out in the normal fashion next time.
Trouble with the Chrysler way of doing them (along with some '80s BL drums funilly enough) is that even if the bearing etc is ok, you still have to replace the bearing seals to be sure that they're going to be ok in the future

I used to run one of those high quality Mahindra jeeps. Same set up as a Landrover at the front but with the added bonus of the drum/hub all in one bit. Absolute nightmare , Indian made Dana axles. Dana design Indian quality
Add in Fiat electrics also made in India

So your not alone m8,except ya can excpect it from me as i dont know much about cars, hehehehehe.
