As some of you now I dug the car out after 9 years undercover and not turning a wheel. The first time I tried rolling the car back it was impossible to move and so I jacked the car up and put ramps under the wheels, so that as I let the jack down the car moved back. Since taking the engine out I haven't looked at the gearbox until today, I can roll the car back but it is a struggle and the inner shaft on the box turns, but pushing the car forwards is a breeze. Any ideas before I dive in and pull the box apart. Or is this normal and will sort it self out when run up and oil pumps around. :help:

your bands are probaly a bit tight it can cause problems when pushing backwards and the box tends to move around with no engine to keep it central, i would not worry,
