Yep, good weekend but I wish the NSRA would sort out the scruteneering a bit quicker. Took me two and a half hours to get done and sign on Saturday a.m. Always the same at this event.

Broke down on way home (gutted). Pulled into Oxford services and filled fuel cell to brim only to see about a gallon empty itself on the floor while I was paying but as it was only the overflow dripping, chucked some sand about and went to drive off. Click.. Click..

With no volt meter, had to call AA who confirmed it was the (6 month old) alternator so had to order up a transporter as it too far to go just on recharged battery power and getting dark.

Nice to do a bit of catching up again.

Jeff - Quality 8)
Kev - Id forgotten that bit

So, as a club we've had 2 alternators fail
a fuel pump fail
a sure grip let go
an engine blow up in an altered
a trans cooler line burst
wheels flying off
a couple of carb problems
pretty much a disaster all round then
not bad going for a weekend of queueing up

Despite all the hassle it sounds like a top time was had by all, it's just a shame I missed it all :(

...but I did have a similar hangover! Well done guys and a great report there Kev...amazing, both Paul and Nick broke down within ten minutes of my place...I reckon we ought to put together an emergancy phone list and map on the site somewhere....just an idea...or shall I get me coat?
The pump don’t work coz the vandals took the handles.

That IS a good idea, Ivor! Top photo of 74dartsport x 2, Kev! Or was that just the vodka making the camera see double? :D The other guy is my mate Blob, and I can't believe him and Simon could possibly have the same genetic make-up... There can be only 1! (believe me, I've known him a while!) Good weekend, I have to say, despite missing the vodka-fun. :( Nice to put some faces to names and meet some of you guys. Right, then, when's the next one? :D

Bro, I've changed me mind... Don't think I can bring meself to part with the Barracuda... Can you?
24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not…

Yeah it was top fun but shouldn't we be organising a group discount with the AA :-k
Anyway I'm fairly happy overall, I got 12mpg going down, ran 12.2 at 111 on treads through the exhaust with loads of wheelspin and drove it home in one piece, I get a bit stressed when trying to scrounge stuff to fix the car miles from home tho', need to bring more spares in future
hopefully there'll be 11s soon with some grip
