bit to do on this one Ash

but no doubt you'll soon have it looking straighter than a straight thing , what red was it originaly ? and which red is it going to be ? keep it up fella looking good

wondering if it's the red 68 R/T that was featured in Classic american in the early 1990s that one had a white vinyl roof.

, looking like it might of been originaly PP1 going by the colour behind the master fire wall plate,
not sure its that one , , red with a white top in classic american , think it was imported in 89 , if thats the one i'm thinking of too , came from colorado i believe , with out looking up info & pictures the reg goes VMO something some thing ,

IF ITS THAT CAR its criminal what a nail it has become that one from the mag was once owned by the firm that also owned jims cuda hemi, it was real tidy.

funny story with that car it goes like this...

around about the mopar nats 2,000 the 68 rt pitted opposite crewe mopars we had a chat with the kid he was a bit odd/dumb we tried to convince him to run it down the track.. him... you must be joking no way will i do that it might break

so we left him to it polishing his helmet that night tony o etc was lettin the fireworks of this kid had filled himself up with ale and decidded it would be a good idea to fire that old 440 up to join in the celebrations and the best thing to do was hold the throttle to the floor eventually Bananarama! water and oil all over the place .. ace think it would of suffered less hammering down the track all weekend, needless to say we joined in the celebrations shouting how cool he looked doing it,,

This R/T looked ok from 10ft,remove the paint and all is revealed

Don't think it is that car, its had three colour changes, factory PP1, then B5 then back to red, then this Maroon metalic

I'm suprised its rotted like it has with the amount of paint on it

By the look's of some of the welding repair's Stevie Wonder had an hand in it

Different red R/T then Ash, the, one I was thinking of is the one Dunc mentions with that funny story, I was at the nats that year and the car had gone down hill since the C A feature, I did try to buy it around 1996, but I didn't quite have enough money the then owner couldn't make his mind up if he'd take a part ex with a very clean chev caprice, think it was about nine grand at the time.
