hello

few ex Vdub chaps round here

don't worry nothing changes marque to marque

still those who pull em to bits and race

and those who count rivets and buff things to a shine

the only real difference is people with mopars often like the standard wheels and hub caps

oh yeah we have empi 5 spokes but we don't call em that

Is that your real name? My last name is Jewell and my nickname given to me by the Mrs is Randy 'cos I'm erm Randy :D

I used to be into aircooled dubs but no more. Mel still has a '61 bug which is nice but Mopars are better :thumbright:

Thanks again guys for your friendly welcome,it seems this is the normal progression from the Volkswagen.

Im based in Southampton,so are there any club meets or shows in my area or is Wheels Day the first show of the new year ?

We have a meet in Poole every Sunday afternoon from 2pm all year round randy anyone most welcome, usually a few cars there if it's dry, coffee and tea etc etc always avaliable., here's a recent piccy. :thumbright:

Nice dart always like a nice rake and a butt stripe :thumbright:

I have seen a few bugs run real well .we always say if you hear a nice note coming from the exhaust ,dont race it ;)
