Oh that's a shame, he was a very talented and forward thinkin guy.......
The impact he had on every kid thru the 60's and 70's is immeasurable, he defined a generation.......F.A.B you Bananarama! ;)

I am a bit older than you I also remember The Adventures of Twizzle, Torchy the Battery Boy and Four Feather Falls he was my childhood I grew up watching them :cry:

Gerry Anderson was ahead of most of the other innovators right to the end. His HD animated Captain Scarlet was at least 5 years ahead of its time.

and who didn't want a Thunderbird two???

Managed to catch it 2nd time round (too young for the first).

Think this was all at the same time as Anthia Turner , Blue Peter and Tracy Islandm whch bought about the resurgence!

Can still remember looking at the models that they made (and often blew up), the car chases etc and thought how fantastic it all was for something that had been made 20/30 years earlier!

As me Dad would say.......

They don't make em like that anymore...............

Very true Steve, first thing i thought when i heard the sad news was a good friend of mine would not have had half the business making models for a living, if it wasn't for Gerry Anderson.
