Yep, that's the girl :plymouth: :plymouth: :plymouth:

As a total beginner I didn't realise it'd been lifted at the back until I'd seen it in the flesh. It's a little odd looking but it gives the car a stance that I kinda dig. I've got the details of the guy who brought it over, I'm trying to make contact with him; judging from some of the documentation supplied with the car it's he who did most of the mods the car has.

Have just booked tix for the euronats btw. I'm buzzin !

Remember seeing that for sale. Lovely car !!!
With the rest of the boys when they say keep it on the road/ rolling resto.
Paint doesn't look an issue. Remember these are no spring chickens.
Enjoy driving her. :thumbright:

Spring chicken she is not, quite right. She's almost as old as me, in much better condition all things considered. It blows my mind that modern cars are so relatively fragile, here is a solid chunk o' metal that's almost 40 years old....starts absolutely brilliantly, even in extreme damp weather. It's very impressive. Just want her to be a little less tatty, feel like she's been loved again. The neglect is just a bit sad to see.

im liking your enthusiasm! just like me, except im away with work so much i never get to use her!
and what a corker of a motaaa! there a name for that colour red? very deep!

oh, by the way, get used to the attention, i have only driven my dodge maybe 10-15 times since i owned her..and the attention NEVER goes away, just gotta wait for the 'is it a mustang?' comments now. :thumbright:

agree with steve on the whole 'sights sounds and smells' nothing beats the noise of all those 'PROPER' V8s gurgling around a show, with the wiff of large amounts of burnt petrol in the air! im sure thats what the pearly gates entrance for me would be like! :D

V8 Grunt.. nothing quite like it.
Fact.

Yes, Mossy. Roadrunner should be doing the rounds after some deep winter fettling. May even get a new interior if I can get the resident racoons to leave!

Been decoding the original build sheet that came with the car - discovered the original colour was Avocado Gold Metallic KJ6. Found a pic of another 74 RR with this colour scheme....mmmm....I like it. Unusual in a good way.

Roundhill Tunnel has echoed to the sublime tone of all the bikes I've owned in the last 4 years, almost designed for my aural delights it would seem ;)
