Howdy Everyone,
Finally got round to joining the MMA having taken the plunge and bought my first Mopar. Im sure some of you will recognise the Car, its a 69 GTX formerly owned by Matt Dickin, now dubbed "Dirty Gerty" (by the misses) owing to the ahhh somewhat characterful interior.

She's Already running a nice strong 440 built by Dave B and seems pretty sorted and reliable mechanically, so my plans for this year are to get the bodywork and paint sorted, freshen up the interior and to get some discs fitted to the front end.

Hello there Pete - great intro and also a great ride.

I am not too far away in sunny Cambidge. Hope to meet up some time (not in a gay way, just a Mopar "bonding" way" )

All the best

Pete

Thanks for the warm welcome Guys, hope to meet some of you in person soon. like i say plans for the year include getting the body work sorted hopefully shes off up to Ashleys in the not to distant for a full bare metal job. Just got to decide if i should put the blackouts on the bottom of the pannels back or not....any thoughts?
i shipped that in,
So i hear, if i remember rightly it came from the same people as your challenger?

Its not shabby on strip either mid 12s as I remember

apparently best run so far is a 12.3 though i've some learning to do before i match that i reckon.

I certainly hope so Carl, will just have to see if shes ready in time, i'd rather get her right than rush her. Planning a few little unique touches for the interior courtesy of the laser scinterer at work
