local to me
chap called steve emailed me
seems he is hiding a rather nice VE somewhere in the twickenham isleworth boarders
smashin looking car
realy good condition for a UK export model and it makes such a change to see standard rather than that black with green stripe ebay one we see once every 2 years
slight bubble to door bottoms but otherwise looking excellent
could be a twin to the one that used to be owned by a chap from Barnsley
he's not sure weather to keep or to sell
i'm sure he won't mind a photo going up for your interest
obviously i'm encourageing "keep" and join MMA we need a few VEs in the club given that they were the best seller from the valiant range in the UK and since the demise of Kevs Taxi we are lacking an early official import in the ranks.
68 dart front and plymouth valiant rear end...
love it
proper vintage tin for sunday cruising

The Greater Knapweed near the Mugwort by the Buckthorn tree is dying
Excellent news!
Going of at a bit of a tangent (no surprise there) my dad used to have a new Humber Super Snipe or Humber Imperial every few years and in 1968/9, horror of horrors, he was told that's it, no more big Humbers, but the salesman from the dealers in London (Warwick Wright?) said we can offer this as a replacement.
It was a Valaint VE. Dad thought it was a great car, but it lacked the leather and walnut he loved in the Humbers, so he turned down their most generous offer of the trade in.
You never know, it could well have been that car...

Chryslers at Brooklands. Mostly Mopars but the Ford and Chevy guys join too! A craking venue, which usually ends up with a photoshoot on the historic banking!kiwivegas wrote:Thanks IvorIvor wrote:Allo!![]()

Hi Mate,VGVIP wrote:Hi kiwivegas and welcome!
Or is that welcome back???
I seem to remember the name.... have we exchanged email before?
I have a VG VIP and am sure I have been in contact with a VE owner with the same or similar name.
Would be a few years ago. How long have you had you VE?
All the best.
Steve
I think we did email years ago.Hows the Holden ? did ya goto Ace for Strayia Day
Nope, no appearance at ht e ACE this year, the Monaro has got a swamp to try to get through from the shed at this time of year and I need to make some repairs to the track that was damaged when some neighbours moved out and got bogged a few times.kiwivegas wrote: Hi Mate,

The VG has not got bumpers on it and I wont have them back for at least a week so did not fancy taking it looking like even more of a wreck than before.
Any more pics of your VE? It looks like it is in great shape!
