I'll have to take Philths word on the year, I found it in a wood in the middle of France. It's been there a LONG time I reckon!

Yeah I recognised that ugly rear pretty quickly
My mate had one that was an early saloon car racer, in fact the nice people at CCKHistorics who are members on here have built one for an American guy to go back to California for historic saloon racing

Does the engine still turn over?
Well it is a Volvo.
My Dad had a Volvo for five or six years. Bought it for £300. The idea was not to spend any money on it and run it into the ground. Never even lifted the bonnet once in that time. Didn't check the oil or anything. He only sold it when the suspension bushes were close to needing replacement. Got £250 for it.
