Post by AllKiller »

The big work starts this weekend

My 2 "door" doors are here...what a Journey Texas to Massachusetts on a Greyhound bus !!! YEP bus
Then Mass to Florida, Ron Fenton's on a mates Truck...God knows what U.S. custom did with them...then to Ron's in Kent then Kent to me in Hampshire ...not a scratch or dent on em.... amazing!!!
Even has the all the glass in them also in fine shape.

And picked up some very good Pukka A100 seats at swap meet for a song

Doors delivered to Tims today myself and car is being blasted screens removed and first the 2 dooring starts after weekend so will start posting proper pics on progress...
Then as it moves on to the Axles move and body panel chomping around
:D 8-)

Good project this Steve ... but hurry up !

On a serious note ... are you 100 % positive those doors will fit ?? Only reason I say that is all the Bananarama! we`ve all had with windscreens fitting and not fitting sedans / wagons / posts etc etc ... might be worth offering them up to make sure

Spent all friday at Gasser cave with Tim, Steve and Big daz...taking the Fury apart and mocking up Doors :thumbright:
The door shuts of the 4 door car fronts will need to be cut out and replace the door shuts in the 2 door, door because of the different shape of the B pillar ...Tim had this sussed already
so thats the first job and then reposition the B pillar...to accept the new longer 2 door, door

The other added benefit is that you dont need many power tools with Daz there....rusted and stuck parts beware
