Daytona Bike Week (well, just 1 day)

Post by Stu Twin »

Having flown from LA to Orlando we spent the thursday at Daytona before driving up to Gainesville. Mainly because Mark who was with us has 2 Harleys and was looking for some spares. Couldn't believe how many bikes there were on every road within about 10 miles of the beach. Probably 95% of the bikes were Harleys. And of those, probably 99% of them were no older than 10 years old. (most of the owners were over 60 tho!)

Nice soft top on the 57 :thumbright:

I wouldn't wan't a Harley, but some looked OK to me, I appreciate the time & effort what has gone into some of those

Did you just photograph the chit or was there anything tasteful there? It looks as if panniers are de riguer this year, which is an especially crap look.

What is that black one in the middle with the mono shock, and very strange looking engine?

Is it electric or something? I can't see an exhaust. :?

Yep, it's electric Dave...six speed box as well...

I'm sorry there isn't a Harley there that does it for me, they all look like some sort of joke.

This is a Harley:

And if you're lucky a 70 mile range on full charge for about £12,000.
