My Roadrunner front bench is knackered and so far a replacement has not turned up.
I'm looking for recommendations for a modern if temporary alternative.
Anyone know what will bolt into a 1973 B Body floor without much modification?
BMW,Audi, Volvo??
I think a lot of the older Porsche seats go in miles owing to both runners being at the same height. I think the runners and being able to fit them will be one of your key factors

Sure John, it's the runners that concern me. I remember you dumping a couple of bucket seats out of your previous car at the Nats a couple of years back. We're they from a Ford, did seem a straightforward swap at the time?
I ended up bringing them back home in the back seat miles but ended up throwing them away in the end. I don't know what they were out of though I'm afraid as they were already in the car when it came over so am sure they would of probably been American anyhow.
It was when I was also looking for alternatives I found the porshe ones looked quite promising and turned up on eBay quite often.
If I were you though I would get your old one re-done if possible as I like the originals.

Steve, Tim' stuff?? Dont know about this?
John, I intend to do up the original bench seat, but it needs welding as well as upholstery. The Porshce seats do turn up, but tend to be pricey.

Green and sparkly..hmm, could build a new green interior around it. Think it may clash with the Petty Blue and the fender tag code!
Shame, nice idea, Pete.
