Charger ignition barrel.

Anyone ever replaced theres?
I have stripped down as much as I can, down to the steering lock plate thing!
It has one c clip, now removed. It looks like it is on splines but will not pull off, does it come off that way?
I added a little pressure and it moved the whole shaft down out off the steering box

.
Just want to put a new barrel in as I dont have a key for this car and it will start with out one!

well after all that, the barrel was differant! not sure what coloum I have is there a big differance between 69/70?
My car is a 70 and the barrel was too short. It does say 69 on some of the parts, I know some of the cars had 69 parts.
Put it all back together then forgot to put the split pin back in! Doh,
Then, put it all back together and forgot to put the sleave back on, double Doh, I had one of those days!

The instructions were for 1970 Challenger. i would have thought they would have been the same?

'69's were mounted on the dash not the column.........
