Would also be a hell of a lot cheaper than re-chroming i'd think! Also a quick fix if you pick up a car thats had its originals painted! 8-) :thumbright:

GTX Jim's brother (Nick) got it done for me 'cos he damaged the bumper whilst doing a bit of building work at my place and like the stand up bloke he is, got it sorted. Paint didn't come out so well, so came up with this idea. Prices depend on the thickness (quality) of the material. I think generally speaking, the thinner the better and more expensive.

Impressed.
If it looks as good in the flesh as it does in the pic it would take close inspection to tell it wasn't chrome plate on steel :thumbright:

Mine has glass bumpers, doors, front, trunk, not much steel left :D plus a few other less weighty items ;)

In non street trim, my car was down to 2,400lb's, approx 1,000 lighter
