Certainly beats the Caprice and Crown Vic!

i am actually half way through restoring an old english police car its a hillman imp served duty in moss side manchester i am going to donate it to matt h so he can go chasing m5,s and evo,s etc round the m25 will be a great retro cop car when done :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll:

Had a blue 1972 a few years back, and I have a model Police one somewhere.

Here is the smallest Police imp, its in the Glasgow Transport Museum , a pedal car built by Hillman for Strathclyde Police for Road Safety demos at schools.

i see an absolutly mint imp van today ,had a set of minilites on it an wasnt hanging about ,didnt they put a coventry climax engine up its bum ,,great name for an engine ,but they lived up to the name once they got all hot and bothered and then it was all over in minutes :D

they rekon a well sorted imp will outdo a mini on the twistys,this is turning into the imp thread
