'70 Challenger Front Suspension Creak

Post by Sublime For 40 »

This is loud (and annoying) and is on LHF only when you 'bounce' that corner or even when you get in on the driver's side. Jacked up with wheel off everything looks sound - given just about every moving joint that I can see a spray (WD40) including all the sway bar bushings. Next step is to pump some grease into the greasing points but they do look well lubricated already. Admittedly, flashing a can of WD around is only a vain attempt at an 'easy win' but even after a good few days to penetrate, it has made no difference. Usual question ; "anyone had a similar issue ?" - Matt.

I have a similar problem with a squeak thats developed at the rear of my Charger. Checked out all the moving parts but nothing obvious, could it be bearing related?

Thanks for all the replies.

I'm going to attack it with a grease gun first before I "get medieval on it's ass" - to continue the Pulp Fiction theme going . . .
