two 70 challengers

Post by challenger »

had matts (sublime for 40) challenger down the workshop to sort out the creaking front end, thought i would take some pics as matts 70 is a superb looking car, never been welded underneath and restored to a high quality car

yes drew, lower control arm bush has some wear in it but not really any play in it, so got plenty of oil around it and no more creaking front end, the bush will want doing soon though

Only just got logged in . . many, many thanks to Jim for both his time and the workshop. Had a real good long look around underneath this time.
Very good of him to help me out.

Hope to get out and about a bit more withe the (green) one this year BUT have my other half to thank once again for booking summer holiday to start the same w/e as the Mopar Nats !!

Two reasons :

1) she Has NO interest in cars (possibly a good thing)
2) she's a Teacher so has to stick to set dates

I'm sure you have plenty of 'advice' for me on that score . . .

Car was built in LA (April '70) and last owner lived in north Ohio.
He's now working on a '69 Road Runner (440) if anyone is after one in about 12 months time . . !
