I will also try to do both, favourite is to go straight from Brooklands to Shakey with the tent and stay Sunday night into Monday - weather permitting. I take it there is still a lot going on bank holiday Monday at Shakey?

Looking on the Shakey website, Garys Picnic is 25-27 May, so do they actually open up for camping on the Friday 24th? If so about what time?
