Yes we are basically planning a V.P. trip from here Denver ,Colorado, we head west we know alot of filming locations along the way to California,we are trying to get to San Fran,in 24 hours
...........it can be done now with hiways they way they are..................I almost did, had my frame not failed .
ok just kidding we wont go that fast, but yes we plan on visiting places like Green River ,on the way Hanksville we know two roads that were used for the Jag chase scene, including the what is left of the bridge that the jag drove off,
Moab Utah, Arches, Bridges, all national parks with some grand scenery
we might hit Vegas, but Goldfield is where the radio station was and then up to Austin Nevada , another famous chase scene,a fabulous B&b there ,
then San Fran is about a 7 hour drive ,then we head back all this will take place in a week,we hope
It is about a 20 hour drive back ,so we will hopefully have enough time.
After that we will all gather in Denver and spend a week in Cozumel Mexico I have a time share there right on the Caribbean and have to many weeks left and not enough life time ,so I am offering them up all I need is for people to help out with maintenance fees about 100 bucks per person.
None of the locations are cast in stone, as well as the actual time but it will be fall of 2014 September no later than the first week of October the weather is premium that time of the year ,temps in the mid 20,s c.
So yea if ya want to join us feel free to start saving and make plans , we had a blast last time ,that is why we are doing it again
There is the last time I checked there was a direct flight to London out of Cancun,all this should take about 2 weeks
