Carb detailing paints and coatings

I wanna get a gold irridite finish on some carb linkage parts and also try and replicate that dull greenish gold colour on the carb bodies. I know I've seen some detailing sprays somewhere but I just wondered who on here had tried em and what kind of results did you get?

Frosts do anodising kits in many colours...

Not cheap tho and I've never used them myself!
