Brewster McCloud film featuring 70 Roadrunner

Post by Hemimad »

Finally someone has uploaded the best parts from this film.

I saw this when I was 14 on Channel 4 and it diverted me from a 77 Trans Am to wanting a 70 Road Runner, now forty odd I have almost identical car.

Not sure if many people are aware of the film, clip gets started at 11 mins.

See what you think.

I was watching that on TV the same night as you most likely. First time I ever saw an Air Grabber in action. I have often thought about buying a copy of the film. It should be a bigger cult classic than it ended up being.

I was aware of the film, but I don't think I've ever seen it.

I think it was only on TV over here the once which is unusual unless I have missed it.
But after seeing it all those years ago I have always been on the lookout for it being on again knowing it had a fair bit of Mopar muscle in it. Never seen it advertised though.

I seem to remember an accident with a female driver of a yellow or lime green cuda or 71 Charger with large blackouts on the rear quarters during the car chase. I didn't see that in the clips there unless I blinked and missed it?

Or maybe that was a different film? I don't think so though.

That was in "Gone In 60 Seconds" Dave.

I've seen this film a few times because of the cars but not too keen on it. Shelley Duvall is always worth watching, ( this was her film debut ), remember "The Shining".
