I'm not a fan of the film, its rubbish, like Dave it was the first time I had ever seen an Air Grabber. I also think it is the most exposure for a 70 Roadrunner in any film I have seen. I tracked down a DVD and sat and watched it with a few beers, still did not improve the bits that didn't feature the Roadrunner!

I am one of those people that like independant "quirky" films. I find the characters and story lines interesting. But they do not always work that is true.

However the major film productions tend to all have re-workings of the same characters and story lines. It is extreamly rare for me to see a major film where I can't see exactly where it is going.

So I find these odd little films refreshing. Non-English films are often a joy to watch for the same reason. They don't follow the formulas. It is a shame that when people realise how good they are, they have to make a US version to get them to a larger audience.

I am sure there is a lot about this film that is "bad". But it must have had something fresh about it for it to stick in my mind. I can't remember why it interested me enough to watch it in the first place. It is about a loner of a boy that dreams to fly. Maybe it touched a nerve?

You can tell Chrysler gave them the Plymouth as a rolling advert.

The shots of the air grabber and the Police radio describing the car as being "Go Mango" in colour. :D
