Yesterday I made some race modifications to the front of the Corvette with the help of the back of a white VW Golf.

These "go-faster" scuffs will improve the aerodynamics of the Corvette considerably. :thumbright:

They work when you press the pedal like the guy in front did.

Most common accident there is. Give way line joining a major road a few yards from a traffic light junction. The type where you have to really look over your right shoulder to make sure no-one is coming.

The lights at the junction turn red.
The guy in front starts to pull away.
I ease off the brake and look to make sure it is still clear. BUMP! The guy in front had changed his mind and braked.

We both saw the taxi accelerating through the red lights towards us. But as the guy in front saw in a position to see it first he braked just as I was looking over my shoulder.

Nose of the Vette went under the bumper of the Golf.

It has mostly T-Cut out with just a 5 min polish and the rest will mainly come out with more work. But there are some scratches I think are too deep and if you look carefully, there is a black horizontal crack in the paint just above the obvious white scuffs.

Had to inform the insurance company as the other driver was going to. Otherwise I would just get it sorted myself. That is what is upsetting me. I can no longer say "no accidents" when getting a quote. :(

I would have taken it in on the 26th of June, to give me time to put anything right it, if it fails on anything..

Bring the 850 with you there is gonna be plenty of people to advise/help you get it running right.
