What a day! This event was just fantastic today, if it continues to grow like this they'll have to add a day :shock:
Loads of members and good mates to say hello to, whippy van on every corner, sweet :thumbright:
I'd like to do pix but my iPhone don't upload onto here for some reason so here's a link to Davemans site;

Did Suzy Q run?
24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not…

I saw Suzi Q make three passes down the strip on the web cam first one was with Ramone driving just to check the car out and it ran a gentle 9.9? pass then Kirsten drove it the next couple of passes the first one was familiarisation
run for her and no time shown the second run was a 10.9? which was a great step up for her as she had only ever run my old Barracuda before that was in the low 14's. I dont think it will belong before she is deep in the 9's or high 8's

It looked the dogs dangleys going down the strip... :thumbright:

It was excellent, very good selection of cars and bikes. I heard it is going to be a 3 day event next year which is encouraging.

One of the best meetings I've ever been to, great fun, great people, great cars, and the weather wasn't too bad either(bit too hot) can't wait for next year, more people should enter the super stock class we had 5 Mopar's against 3 Chevy's one Chevy broke before the qualifiers, so we had 5 mopes and 2 chevs, after round one we had 3 mopes and 1 chev so in the final we had mopar against chevy and the chevy one, but still great fun, Roll on next year.
Petrol is for washing parts, Alcohol is for drinking, Nitro is for racing!!!
