Nats 2013

Post by charger01 »

Well what a great time. I was determined to get there & have a good time & I did . My eldest lad Dan drove us down on Friday morning . We set up camp next to Miles & Simon (top blokes to jam on the guitar with ;) ) We quickly hooked up with Jon (I don't want to dance) Leonard & had a good gander around. Thanks to Jon for taking us on the cruise , top bloke for that :thumbright: Nice to see Dave Robbo there still waving both fingers at me  Caught up with Ali (cadboy) at Kens Diner & Paul R. Spoke to a good few others there too. Friday was a good night, dunno who the guy was fighting his own shadow while hanging onto that post but he failed when the big security guy nabbed him. Saturday was a day watching the racing, catching up & saying hello to all the people you only see once a year & also finally meeting up with someone else who was limping along (Mr Wiseman).Good to see Roydon get the hang of the car :thumbright: Well done Andy getting into the 9's at last. Enjoyed talking to Ivor & Martin on the stand. Freedom next year Ivor eh? Chatted with 4 doors Steve, dave 81, & Carl (petty car) Good to meet some of the newer guys & look forward to next years show. Hopefully by then I will be in my own car & not walking around with a moonboot & crutches. Coming home I think I dosed off & Dan woke me asking why there was a sign saying Blackpool 16 miles f.f.s  The numpty had missed the turn for Wales & added another two hours to our journey. Thanks to everyone who made our weekend . We had a blast & will be back next year.Apologies to anyone I didn't mention & well done to D.B 7000rpm's for breaking his car twice . :drwho:

Was good to meet you too Ade and thanks for pointing out some of the other members to me.

That was one of the funniest things seeing that guy arguing with himself and chucking his beer everywhere as he attempted to fight himself, wonder if he spoke to himself again after his rowl?
