wanted ....remote oil filter housing

Post by aussie pete »

I have listed this here as I believe that this is unique to Aussie cars.

I need (as pictured) a remote oil filter housing, the bit that bolts on to the rear of the engine block (one without the crack in it would be good  #-o )

No it's a small block Aussie only deal Steve. Pete, try Minty or Matt Hollingsworth, they are the sort of guys that might have one.

Its not easy to take a clear picture as its a bit crowded in that area (As the Aussies off set the engine 1" to the right(the same as the yanks) but with rhd that means everything is cramed into the same place.
The housing is cast iron and sits at the bottom rear of the rh side of the engine block.
A little bit of over zelous tightening resulted in the casting collapsing
Cheers blue,..good shout ,.ill try them

Pretty sure I have one, but not sure if I can lay my hands on it quickly. Bits everywhere! Will try and have a look at the weekend.

Deffo had your lines, Mate. They got used! 8-)

Wasn't sure where the adaptor came from, had a funny feeling it came from Robbo, as it happens. :-S

Anyhow, if I've still got it, it needs a deserving home! :-D
