A couple of trim removal questions

Post by DaveScrivener »

My Challenger is going in for paint this week and I'm also having the plastic trim worked on. I've stripped most of it out but i have two questions:
To remove the plastic seat backs does the seat need to be removed or is it use a case of undoing all the screws and careful manouvering or is there a screw hidden down below the centre consol, I have removed one from this side.
The other thing is the dash, there is a split in the top, I haven't tried yet but will the top just unscrew and come off or is it a dash completely out job?
thanks for any advice
I pity the fool who thinks its a Mustang

it's been a long time since i looked at one ! but if i recall, the rear panel on my cuda buckets came off with one or maybe two screws, dunno if that helps, but the yanks didnt often hide anything, they had to think of the end users average IQ level !

2 screws at the botom and two at the top depending on year. can be removed in place, may even be a build sheet behind them :P

Easier to remove the whole dash

All bucket seat cars could have the build sheet in the removable back, always worth a look.
