Hi,
I thought an update was due after making to the HRD's,
I managed two runs up the track which was an absolute blast, I was a little worried about making a Twat of myself
But I think I did ok, I smoked the tyres in the water box and rolled out the traps without running over the starting lights.
I short shifted through the gears on the first run, and left it in second and pushed on in the second run, I hit the rev limiter which seemed to kick in very low (so that needs to be looked at ) but while the car went down the track in a straight line without any moments, it did seem to be down on power, I didn't seem to be hanging on as much as I though I would, so a visit to the dyno seems to be in order to make sure everything is working ok.

I also did an interview thing for Motors TV with the Coupe, which air's on the SKY channel, so that's was pretty cool, I'm not sure when it'll be shown but hopefully I can record it when it is shown.
All in it was a good first attempt up the track 8-)

I feel really bad because I saw the car but did not get the opportunity to introduce myself and say "Hi", but the car looked as tough as a Bulldog chewing a Wasp!!!

Glad you liked your time down the strip! It's addictive!!

Thanks for the comments chaps much appreciated :thumbright:

I was taking it easy by short shifting on the first run, the second run came in at 14.8.
I don't have the timing slip yet for that run so I can't tell what the 60 ft times are or any other times on the slip, I'll hopefully grab that ticket over the weekend.
My gears are 350 so that wouldn't of helped, so I'm guessing by the time I'm getting into my power range I'm already halfway down the track
