cylinder heads off!

Post by sidewaysjas »

The Charger has finally come to the top of the queue so got to spend today on it. Pulled the heads off and as suspected at least one burnt exhaust valve. Hope to spend one evening this week stripping the heads and then I'll know what parts I need to order. Not after a mega fast car just one that might make it to 'Brooklands' one year.

Will let you know what I find

Valves

Two oval valves identified, new parts on the way from a mixture of Rockautos and UK suppliers. Gaskets, Valves, bolts and service parts.

The most money spent on it for years!
