Paint shop now pushing on with the Runner, just got these emailed over. Its getting the vinyl roof fitted on Friday :thumbright:

Thanks for the comments. New 15' Mag 500's arrived, managed to bodyshop and took a couple of shots in the daylight, I can see why it was Hi Impact! 8-)

Can I ask, who did your vinyl and where are they? I dare it's too far north for us, but could be useful for future info, ta :read2:

Thanks for all the comments, helps keepin on goin. The guy http://www.interiorwizzard.co.uk who did the vinly roof details can be found at, he charged £200 for coming over to Chester and installing, so he may travel.

The paint is being done by Chester Auto Refinishing based in Ellesmere Port, he's a nice guy but it has took a bit of time to get it to this stage, just hoping that the momentum is not lost. I do know that the paint was a big problem, the first batch of Tor-Red was for the new Challenger, not quite the right colour and it took a while to sort the original PPG colour with the suppliers this side of the water. We cannot get the correct textured finish for the hood stripes, so we are going for a satin black finish instead. Next shots should be the trunk lid and new AMD bonnet painted.

I managed to obtain a new O/S fender from Duncan Watts (thanks) that I have had media blasted and the results were stunning, so that is also being prepped ready for painting.

found these while looking though pictures for another thread ,
second picture is at a car show they use to have at a school in Tonbridge wells 1992,
other is at brands hatch 93 , got a better picture at brands somewhere , will post it here when & if I find it
