Went down today, left late and got there at 12.30, stayed until about 4. Track was quiet, never more than four or five cars in front of me in the fire up lane. Could have got a dozen runs in but let the car cool down between runs and ran five times. Track was surprisingly grippy and I could have launched a bit harder but didn't want to fry the tyres. Ran a best of 12.1@117. My lad ran his mini down the strip, first time for him and he had a blast. Best run was 18.6
There's another RWYB in two weeks.
1970 Road Runner, 505CI, 4 speed, GV overdrive, 3.91 gears.
11.98 @ 117mph on street tyres
