Magnetic castor/camber gauges worth having?

I want to get my front end set up,right as I have some odd tyre wear despite having had then car tracking done.
Are the magnetic gauges worth buying to help with the castor etc..?

Check out DB's thread - I bought a cheapy one on the strength of his reports....
