Wasn't that in the lyrics of a Monkees song? "Another Pleasant Valley Sunday..."

Cracking bit of history. And seems Jim is a proper Mopar man. Chucking your own son out for not buying a mope !!!
Except he doesn't seem to know the difference between Dodge & Plymouth?

Now here is my families affiliation with the Plymouth Furys.

1963 My father buys first Fury
1964 Buys another
1965 Purchases a Sport Fury
In 1967 he totals the 65 on telephone pole- Buys a 67

In 1969 my brother returns from Vietnam- Purchases 1968 350 GT Mustang
My father looks as car says "Sure doesn't look like a Dodge, and if it isn't a Dodge you don't live here."

Brother Trades in 350 gt Mustang for Emerald green Sport Fury Convertible

I end up with my Fury along the way, my cousin buys a Grand Fury,
2010, my brother, now retired purchases 1969 Sport Fury Conv. Red this time

We cruised her mostly, drive in movies, fun for the kids.

Jim also sent some photos which I have attached

Cheers Steve

I feel guilty Steve I don't know much about my old bangers, apart from the fact the gold Lincoln was originally owned by a black preacher gent in Virginia. ;) :D :thumbright:
