What are you doing this weekend car related?

Post by GJUK »

I need to clean up my garage, have needed to for a number of weeks not. Though the lack of tools in the cabinets mean I'm getting bored of looking on the floor for them.

Taking a pinto engine to an engine builder, fitting my number plates to the dart and trying out my new compressor perhaps also.

What are you all up to?

Good luck with all that Jon!
I'm doing what will hopefully be the LAST bit of sanding on the Belve NSR arch, then I'll have a big clean-up to prep for my cylinder heads coming back from Dave, possibly as soon as next week! Every surface in the garage is coated with filler dust so lots of hovering and airgun blowing!

Hehe. My dads garage is still covered with a fine layer of yellow dust. It took him 3 years to get over it. He still mentions it to this day :D

I'm hopefully getting a carb rebuild kit for the truck. And pricing up some parts for the Coronet.
May even be tempted to rebuild carb.
We shall see ;)

New fuel line front to rear, collect some bits from Blue, possibly set the timing ready for first fire up.
Loads to do.

Finish adjusting my transmission so I can select both first gear and still find
Park. Currently it's either one or the other.
Fit my new wheel vintiques steels and new white letter tyres and pay Mad Machs in red wine for fitting the tyres for me!
Wait for rain to stop and drive on Sunday 8-)
