Fitting the new door shells and front sheet metal back on the 69 Camaro, assembling the front suspension on the Challenger and ordering some replacement AMD panels( front & rear valance & deck filler panel) for it from Summit, sanding down the Challenger bumpers for priming & painting, spraying the wheels gloss black and filling / sanding horrible bits of bodywork and paint.......... will get some pics posted sometime...
Oh, and I've just ordered the Bassett racing wheels for the RR.....

I have got some big sheets of cardboard that we used on the 45" RR tubs if you want them, but it would probably cost more in Diesel to pick them up....Blue wrote:Don't normally work on the car at the weekend, I like to get out and about. I will normally order parts or collect bits for the following weeks work so I don't get held up. I will probably cut out a wooden pattern for the tubs this afternoon.

Copper fuel line in, plugs gapped and wired up (Jack did that lot, learning about timing and firing order).
Extra treat, T/A boot spoiler holes drilled so it sits in place, just not bolted it down yet.
Parts collecting tomorrow.

Attending car shows and celebrating my Birthday on me own!
Hi All
You may think my weekend sounds a little more glamorous but it ain't all its cracked up to be.
Today is my Birthday and I spent it on my own driving 60 miles to a small car show in a place called Boynton Beach, Florida (see my other post)
There was also a Mopar show but it was 3 hours away but I should have gone!
Weather has been perfect today, clear blue skies and about 25 degrees.
Called to Advanced Autoparts on the way back to pick up some Accel leads for my Duster.
Tomorrow I am off to Ft Lauderdale for an all makes show hosted by the Corvette club of America, and possibly a second one a bit further North at Deerfield Beach, Florida.
It keeps me busy and I get to experience the world, but being away from home gets to you sometimes!
But at least I can gather all my parts for the Duster!
Getting really tempted to clear lacquer it as it is for this year, any opinions appreciated!
Cheers

You can sleep in your car, you can't race your house!!
