Thanks for your comment re: dad,32 years on and H&S has moved on, I use an air fed mask because not too sure on life of a cartridge mask. Need to avoid fumes for quite a time after spraying.

I have painted 2k clear in my house.... No problems. Mind you, I did build a rather nice booth with extractor. Don't use it much now, do my clearing at the shop. If you are careful, take your time. it is OK. But some people have nasty reactions, But look at Ron Finch, One of the old school custom painters. He clears in a room with hardly any ventilation, no mask, and a fag on the go! He is now well into his 70's!
