Falling us dollar

Post by Jeff »

Wow..... Anne got a important message from work today... As she is manager at the local resort.... The US dollar and Canadian dollar are usually close or in parity. And as such, US dollars re accepted dollar for dollar in the local resort. A lot of Americans come for the skiing and golf...

But the US dollar has dropped big time today. About 11 cents lower. Looks like you guys should keep,a close eye on purchases from the USA. As the pound is getting stronger. Although, I don't know for how long. :thumbright:

The pound will get stronger ,,,America are in the Ka Ka big time and it will take more than any fiscal package to drag them out of it,,,,Many years of defence spending ,fighting wars ,and spying on people......It will take them years to turn it round ,There politics are a mess,,,I doubt it will happen in my lifetime ,,,,,Spent force its over for them ,,,,,China and Russia are the new kiddies on the block the good ole USA are left with Elvis and a military machine that costs more to run than the whole of Africa,,,,,,Its gonna take a big leader to drag them out ,,,,,,,But i am sure they will come back stronger than ever

well, the pound was a lot stronger then. Don't know if sterling will recover that much. But you never know! It was doing great last week, but then it was reported that some of the figures released were a bit suspect, and dropped another 4 cents! Still the best it has been for over 3 years.

Suppose it depends on how quickly the Romanians and Bulgarians start the alloy wheel and catalytic converter relocation companies up!
