Yes looks good just a few cosmetic things could be touched up.
The 253 can go quite well for a small v8 but it would have to be quite a monster to justify the 800cfm carb.
Should drive well as the HZ chassis had the better steering geometry (RTS) than the HQ, HJ & HX.
I'd have it if I had the space and cash.

Yep.

That one was a base model HQ Monaro (2 head lights) with a 202 ci six and a duck tail spoiler as was fitted to the later HX 2 door. Oh and a rocket up its arse for the crash scene.
Mine started life as the HQ LS Monaro (4 headlights and higher trim level) also a six pot.
